Bertschi School, founded in 1975, is a Washington State approved elementary school. We are an accredited member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools (PNAIS), the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NWAC). The school serves children from prekindergarten through grade five.
Position General Description
The overall responsibility of a Bertschi teacher is to provide the students in their care an
educational experience that is mission-centered. We strive to honor and celebrate childhood
while preparing our students for a complex world. Additionally, a Bertschi teacher must bring a
curious, positive, and motivated attitude to work and enjoy being part of a dynamic team.
Preference will be given to those candidates with experience teaching in upper elementary or
middle school. Candidates must have experience with differentiated instruction and knowledge in
technology formats to collaborate, publish, and interact with peers, parents, and other audiences.
