“Gotta Be Me” at the Children’s Film Festival

A yearly tradition, the Bertschi Parent Council and Diversity Committee co-host a family screening of one of the Seattle Children's Film Festival movies.

This year the hosted screening was a series of shorts titled:  "Gotta Be Me" .

The characters in these films are learning to dive deeper and fly higher. Our families met a girl who shifts her shape, a boy who feels music instead of hears it, someone who longs to spend his life by the sea, and even some animated creatures who are also one-of-a-kind, just like our kids!

The Children's Film Festival will run until February 11, 2017.

Northwest Film Forum is offering the 12th edition of its annual International Children’s Film Festival! With 188 films from 50+ countries, the festival is a great place for children to become more globally aware and see visual storytelling that champions the ideas of teamwork, empathy, human kindness and love.
