Invest in Our Future

Through our endowment, we safeguard the school's long-term growth and stability, as well as support the community that makes Bertschi special.

Education is Timeless

Gifts to the endowment are an investment in the future of Bertschi School. When you give, you affirm the timeless value of a Bertschi education. Donations are never spent; they are invested and earn interest for the school in perpetuity.

Endowments continue to give back for as long as the school exists. In 2017, our community successfully reached and surpassed the Believe in Bertschi campaign goal of $5 million. Thank you to all of the generous donors who made this milestone possible.

Bertschi School Endowment Funds

General Endowment

This fund directly impacts student learning experiences by providing critical funding for the continued enhancement of our educational program and campus. These funds are unrestricted in use and give the school maximum flexibility to meet a range of future needs.

Brigitte Bertschi Financial Aid Endowment

Established in 2004, this fund honors and expands our founder's commitment to Bertschi's socio-economic diversity. Financial Aid packages cover 100 percent of a family's demonstrated need for tuition, extended day, and Learning Services.

Sarah M. Hughes Memorial Endowment

Named after a beloved Bertschi student, this memorial fund provides the school with financial aid funds to support the children of Bertschi faculty and staff.

Faculty Compensation Endowment

This donor established fund allows Bertschi to sustain top-quartile faculty compensation, reducing the burden that higher salaries place on tuition. It is just one of many ways to help us attract and retain the very best teachers for our students.

Professional Development Endowment

The two greatest factors impacting the students' academic success are the quality of their teachers and a supportive learning community. The very best teachers–those who instill a love of learning and create a caring environment–are themselves continually learning innovative, effective ways to engage and educate students.
